The Merchandising Specialist is responsible for planning, managing, and executing merchandising strategies to ensure the right product mix, accurate pricing, and effective product displays across retail stores and online channels. This role involves monitoring inventory levels, analyzing sales performance, and coordinating with suppliers and internal teams to achieve sales and profitability targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage product assortments in line with market trends and customer demand.
  • Ensure accurate product data, SKU creation, pricing, and updates across systems and channels.
  • Monitor inventory levels, coordinate replenishment, and resolve stock discrepancies.
  • Prepare and analyze sales and inventory reports to guide merchandising decisions.
  • Maintain compliance with brand guidelines, pricing standards, and promotional strategies.
  • Collaborate with suppliers for product sourcing, pricing negotiations, and promotional activities.
  • Support the execution of marketing campaigns, seasonal promotions, and new product launches.
  • Coordinate with store operations, supply chain, marketing, and finance teams to ensure smooth merchandising execution.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and support the implementation of merchandising systems or tools.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of merchandising, buying, or retail experience (footwear/fashion experience is a plus).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales and market data.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP, or merchandising systems.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience in coordinating with SM and Robinsons
