Job Description
We're seeking a creative and skilled Social Media Assistant to be the driving force behind building a strong social media presence for an emerging coaching business. You'll work directly with the business owner to create engaging, compliant content that connects with their target audience across Facebook and Instagram. This role offers the perfect blend of creative freedom and professional growth, with opportunities to expand into additional platforms like YouTube and LinkedIn, plus potential future involvement in CRM management and administrative support as the business scales.

Responsibilities
  • Create and post engaging content 3 times per week across Facebook and Instagram
  • Write compelling captions for video content that align with coaching/therapeutic industry standards
  • Edit longer-form videos into attention-grabbing short-form content using tools like Opus Clips
  • Design eye-catching static posts and carousel content for maximum engagement
  • Develop and maintain brand board templates in Canva to ensure consistent visual identity
  • Prepare weekly content previews for client approval and feedback
  • Ensure all content meets therapist/coaching industry compliance requirements and professional standards
  • Utilize existing brand color palette and website elements to maintain cohesive branding
  • Collaborate directly with the business owner on content strategy and brand development
  • Potential to grow into additional responsibilities including administrative tasks and Go High Level CRM management
Requirements
  • Proven experience in social media management, particularly with Facebook and Instagram platforms
  • Strong graphic design skills with demonstrated proficiency in Canva (portfolio)
  • Experience with video editing and creating engaging short-form content
  • Excellent written communication skills for crafting compelling captions and copy
  • Understanding of or willingness to learn about therapeutic/coaching industry standards and compliance
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high quality standards
  • Flexible schedule with ability to overlap 1-2 hours daily for communication and collaboration
  • Experience with content scheduling and social media management tools
  • Creative mindset with attention to brand consistency and professional presentation
  • Growth-oriented attitude with interest in expanding skills into CRM systems and business operations
