About the Role

Countive Inc is seeking a 
Senior MEP Draftsperson
 to support an Australian engineering and construction client. This is a full-time, long-term 
remote position
, working 
Sydney business hours (8 Working Hours Min between - 8:00 AM 6:00 PM AEST)
.

You will be responsible for producing MEP design drawings, shop drawings, and as-builts while coordinating with engineers and project managers. The role requires 
proven end-to-end drafting/project delivery experience
, not just software support.

You'll be joining an expanding drafting team, working alongside an established senior who sets technical standards. This role has the potential to grow into a 
leadership pathway
 as the team expands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft and manage 2D AutoCAD and 3D Revit documentation for MEP services.

  • Deliver shop drawings, design documentation, and as-builts to client standards.

  • Use Navisworks for clash detection and model coordination.

  • Coordinate directly with engineers, architects, and project managers.

  • Ensure accuracy, quality, and timeliness across deliverables.

Mandatory Requirements (Do Not Apply Unless You Meet These)

  • 8+ years AutoCAD (advanced 2D/3D drafting).

  • 5+ years Revit (hands-on project delivery, not just training/support).

  • 5+ years MEP drafting/project delivery experience.

  • 5+ years Navisworks (clash detection and coordination).

  • Strong English communication skills (8/10+).

  • Able to work full-time in Sydney hours.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree/Diploma in Drafting, Engineering, or Architecture.

  • Experience with Australian or US projects.

  • Familiarity with BIM coordination workflows.

Work-From-Home Requirements

  • Dual-monitor workstation.

  • High-speed internet (with backup).

  • Stable electricity with backup plan if prone to outages.

  • Noise-cancelling headset + webcam.

  • Dedicated, distraction-free workspace (subject to audit).

  • Company laptop provided after successful onboarding.

Salary & Benefits

  • Competitive gross monthly salary + HMO (after probation).

  • Salary dependent on project delivery experience, BIM coordination, and international exposure.
