About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior MEP Draftsperson to join our growing remote team supporting an Australian engineering and construction client. This role requires proven end-to-end project delivery experience in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) drafting and documentation.

This role primarily supports large-scale infrastructure and government-related projects in Australia. Candidates must be confident working to strict compliance, detailed documentation, and high-quality standards.

You will work on civil, infrastructure, and modular projects, producing design drawings, shop drawings, and as-builts while coordinating with engineers and project managers. This is a long-term, full-time position during Sydney business hours (8:00 AM – 6:00 PM AEST).

You'll also be joining an expanding drafting team, where you will work alongside an established senior who sets technical standards. This role has potential to evolve into a leadership pathway as the team grows.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce and manage 2D AutoCAD and 3D Revit drafting for MEP services.
• Deliver shop drawings, design documentation, and as-builts to client standards.
• Use Navisworks for clash detection and model integration.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, and project managers to clarify requirements.
• Ensure accuracy, quality, and timeliness across all drafting deliverables.

Mandatory Requirements (Do Not Apply Unless You Meet These):

• 8+ years AutoCAD (advanced 2D/3D drafting).
• 5+ years Revit (hands-on project delivery; not just training/support).
• 5+ years MEP drafting/project delivery experience.
• Infrastructure project experience required for MEP drafting and delivery.
• 5+ years Navisworks (clash detection, model coordination).
• Strong English communication (8/10+).
• Ability to work full-time in Sydney hours.
• Willingness to complete a technical drafting test.

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Drafting, Engineering, or Architecture.
• Experience with Australian & USA projects.
• Strong familiarity with BIM coordination workflows.

• Noise-cancelling headset and webcam.
• Dedicated, distraction-free workspace. Free from kids, family members etc. Must treat WFH as your dedicated office.
• Company laptop provided.
• Telecommuting Agreement to be signed and committed to, WFH space prone to audits.

Salary & Benefits

• ₱60,000 – ₱85,000 gross monthly salary + HMO (employer-covered after probation).
• Salary dependent on proven project delivery experience, BIM coordination skills, and international exposure (AU & USA projects highly valued).
• HMO path as the team & tenure expands.
• Long-term commitment required, 60 days notice. This is a stable role with 30–40 hours/week + OT opportunities.
• Direct client exposure with Australian managers.
• Potential leadership opportunities as the drafting team grows.
