RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in researching potential vendors. Sourcing required materials, goods, products, and services and negotiating the best or most cost-effective contracts and deals.
  • Comparing and evaluating offers from suppliers
  • Negotiating contract terms of agreement and pricing
  • Create and maintain good relationships with key suppliers to ensure merchandise/item to be purchased is high quality and delivered on time.
  • Track orders and ensure timely delivery of ordered goods
  • Review quality of purchased items
  • Assist in maintaining a vendor database and keep updated records of pricing
  • Assist in the preparation of reports on purchases, including cost analyses
  • Verify and monitor stock level of inventories of each department
  • Create Purchase Orders based from Purchase Requests from each department
  • Coordinate with inventory-in-charge or the representative of each departments regarding their purchase requests
  • Keep supplier/vendor information and legal requirements updated
  • Conducting product research and sourcing new suppliers and vendors.
  • Performing inventory inspections and reordering supplies and stock as necessary.
  • Updating and maintaining records of all orders, payments, and received orders.
  • Coordinating with the delivery team of vendors and following up on delays or orders that have been rescheduled.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree of any course
  • Work experience as a Purchasing Staff or a similar role
  • Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating and liaising with vendors)
  • Understanding of supply chain procedures
  • Good analytical skills, with the ability to create cost analysis
  • Good negotiation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
  • Good English verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent Time Management Skills
  • Can work within a team in a fast paced work environment
  • Can work under pressure, with tight deadlines and has the ability to multitask
  • Has keen attention to details
  • Flexible and adaptable to change
  • Willing to work in Sta. Rosa City from Mondays to Saturdays
