Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct field and/or online investigations of loan applicants.
  • Verify applicant information including employment, income, residency, credit history, and character references.
  • Interview applicants, employers, and references to gather relevant data.
  • Prepare comprehensive and accurate credit investigation reports.
  • Coordinate with loan officers and credit analysts to support credit decision-making.
  • Maintain confidentiality and data protection of client information.
  • Detect and flag possible fraudulent applications or inconsistencies.
  • Update investigation logs and ensure all records are filed systematically.
  • Stay informed on laws and regulations affecting credit investigations.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the Credit Manager or management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or any related field.
  • Experience in credit investigation, lending, or related fields is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication and interviewing skills.
  • High level of integrity and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic data management tools.
  • Valid driver's license (if field investigations are required).
