Junior Business Systems Analyst

Location: Ortigas, Pasig City

Employment Type: Full-time

We are looking for a highly analytical, detail-oriented, and tech-driven individual to join our team as an IT Systems Trainee / Junior Systems Analyst. This role is ideal for someone who wants hands-on experience in SAP Business One, SQL, master data management, and business process logic, with a structured growth track and clear performance metrics.

If you enjoy solving problems, organizing data, and learning new systems quickly, this role will give you the foundation to grow into a full Systems Analyst.

What You'll Do

Phase 1: Probationary Period (Months 1–6)

Goal: Develop strong reliability, data accuracy, and fast learning.

1. Master Data & Data Integrity

  • Ensure 100% accuracy in Item Master uploads (pricing, unit of measure, barcodes) in SAP/POS.
  • Complete all standard data creation/update requests within 24 hours.
  • Participate in weekly data audits to validate accuracy against master files.

2. Operational & Technical Support

  • Serve as the front line for basic IT issues and SAP Business One support.
  • Acknowledge support requests within 30 minutes (business hours).
  • Resolve at least 80% of Tier 1 issues independently.
  • Create weekly "One-Pager" guides to contribute to the internal Knowledge Base.

3. Learning Milestones

  • Learn and apply SQL basics (SELECT, JOINs) within the first 3 months.
  • Understand SAP's end-to-end process flow ("Golden Arrow": Sales → Delivery → Invoice → Journal Entry) and pass an internal assessment by Month 4.

Phase 2: Regularization (6 Months and Beyond)

Goal: Shift from "fixing problems" to "preventing problems" and supporting higher-level analysis.

1. System Maintenance & Reliability

  • Perform daily system and server health checks (backup status, API service, disk space) before 9:30 AM.
  • Document and analyze the root cause of recurring system errors, focusing on prevention.

2. Business Analysis & Reporting

  • Generate accurate weekly sales and inventory reports and submit them by Monday 10:00 AM.
  • Propose at least one process improvement or automation per quarter that reduces manual work for operations.

3. Technical Advancement

  • Develop stronger SQL skills, including CASE statements and PIVOT queries.
  • Support integrations (e.g., AppSheet → SAP) and troubleshoot API errors using logs within 2 hours of detection.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Strong analytical mindset and high attention to detail.
  • Ability to learn new systems quickly ("sponge-like learning").
  • Basic understanding of databases or SQL is a plus—but not required.
  • Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with different teams.
