About the role

Join ARTECH TECHNOLOGY INC' as a Data Engineer Data Platforms on a contract basis. You will be responsible for building and maintaining data pipelines and platforms to support the company's data-driven initiatives. This is a remote/hybrid role based in Quezon City Metro Manila.

What you'll be doing

  • Design, build, and optimise data pipelines to ingest, transform, and load data from various sources into data warehouses and lakes
  • Develop and maintain data models, schemas, and ETL processes to ensure data quality and consistency
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Implement and maintain data security, privacy, and governance policies
  • Continuously monitor and improve the performance and reliability of data platforms
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to more junior members of the team

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and data engineering tools (e.g. Apache Spark, Airflow, Kafka)
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Strong understanding of data modelling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts
  • Familiarity with data security, privacy, and governance best practices
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
