We are seeking a Data Platform Engineer to lead the design, optimization, and support of enterprise data platforms. The role involves ensuring platform reliability, security, and operational efficiency while driving automation and enforcing governance policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, monitor, and maintain data architecture, pipelines, and operational workflows to support scalable enterprise solutions.
  • Ensure platform compliance with standard operating models, including patching, upgrades, and component installations.
  • Provide technical production support, including job monitoring, issue investigation, incident resolution, and documentation.
  • Automate reporting processes and generate data operations and governance reports for management.
  • Oversee platform stability in key areas such as data flow monitoring, quality assurance, license usage, cost management, and performance optimization.
  • Enforce platform security, access control, and compliance policies while managing incidents and change requests.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 5–7 years of hands-on experience in data architecture, modeling, and pipeline design.
  • Technical Skills: Strong background in ETL processes, Azure Data Platforms, Databricks, and Informatica MDM.
  • Framework Knowledge: Familiarity with the ITIL Service Management framework for incident and change management.
  • Core Competencies: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong documentation/debugging capabilities.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with a proven track record of working effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Adaptability: Quick to learn new technologies and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
