About the Role:
We are looking for a motivated Level 1 IT Helpdesk Specialist to provide first-line technical support and assist with daily IT operations. You will help maintain smooth system performance, assist users with common issues, and escalate complex concerns to higher-level support when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to user inquiries and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including user account setup in Office 365.
- Perform basic mailbox delegation and password resets.
- Monitor antivirus tools (such as ESET) and report or resolve simple errors.
- Log and track issues using ticketing systems, ensuring timely resolution.
- Assist with device registration and updates.
- Support data backup checks and file recovery under supervision.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 1–2 years of experience in IT support or helpdesk roles.
- Familiarity with Office 365 administration and user management.
- Understanding of antivirus tools and basic troubleshooting.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to clearly explain technical issues to non-technical users.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively within a team.
Preferred:
- CompTIA A+ or similar certification.
- Basic knowledge of networking, firewalls, and backup systems.
