Level 1 IT Helpdesk Specialist (Hybrid)

About the Role:

We are looking for a motivated Level 1 IT Helpdesk Specialist to provide first-line technical support and assist with daily IT operations. You will help maintain smooth system performance, assist users with common issues, and escalate complex concerns to higher-level support when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to user inquiries and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including user account setup in Office 365.
  • Perform basic mailbox delegation and password resets.
  • Monitor antivirus tools (such as ESET) and report or resolve simple errors.
  • Log and track issues using ticketing systems, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Assist with device registration and updates.
  • Support data backup checks and file recovery under supervision.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 1–2 years of experience in IT support or helpdesk roles.
  • Familiarity with Office 365 administration and user management.
  • Understanding of antivirus tools and basic troubleshooting.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to clearly explain technical issues to non-technical users.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively within a team.

Preferred:

  • CompTIA A+ or similar certification.
  • Basic knowledge of networking, firewalls, and backup systems.
