The Compliance Assistant will provide essential support across various departments, focusing on safety and occupational health, data privacy, compliance and regulatory affairs, and general administrative duties. This role ensures smooth operations by handling routine tasks efficiently and proactively addressing the needs within the company.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Compliance and Regulatory Affairs:

  • Assist in monitoring and complying with compliance requirements, including permits, licenses, and accreditation requirements.
  • Process application and/or renewal of all licenses and permits of the Company and its subsidiaries.
  • Act as committee secretary for Data Privacy
  • Assist in the conduct of regulatory compliance activities such as but not limited to assessments, consolidation of reports, implementation of programs, audits and inspections
  • Liaise with different government agencies in relation to compliance, submission of regulatory reports, etc.

Corporate Planning and Organizational Development:

  • Assist in the conduct of Strategic Planning Sessions
  • Assist in the conduct of corporate organization development initiatives

Administration Support:

  • Manage and organize documents and digital files with high accuracy
  • Utilize MS Office applications to create reports, presentations, and spreadsheet
  • Communicate effectively with team members and external contacts to ensure smooth operation.
  • Handle multiple tasks and prioritize to meet deadlines efficiently

Learning and Development:

  • Support and Assist in developing and conducting training programs that enhance compliance awareness and operational integrity

Job Qualifications:

  • Must be a graduate of Business Administration, Legal Management, Political Science, or equivalent from a reputable college/university.
  • At least 2 years of relevant administrative experience, preferably in a corporate setting
  • Proficient communication skills (both written and oral).
  • Competent in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Organized with excellent time management abilities.
  • Demonstrates initiative and a proactive approach to work.
  • Works well under pressure and has a high tolerance for stress.
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to relate well to people.
  • Dynamic and adaptable to changing work requirements.
  • Has a strong sense of integrity and work ethic.
