About the Role

Colliers International Philippines, Inc. is seeking a skilled and dynamic Facilities Manager (Engineer) to join our team at Ayala, Makati City. In this role, you will oversee the engineering operations, maintenance, and management of all building systems and physical infrastructure. Combining technical expertise with strong leadership, you will ensure optimal facility performance, safety, and regulatory compliance. You will lead the maintenance team, manage contractors, and coordinate projects to ensure smooth and efficient facility operations.

What you'll be doing

  • Lead and manage the facilities engineering team in maintaining and repairing building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and security.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor preventive maintenance programs to maximize system reliability and efficiency.
  • Oversee day-to-day facility operations, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Manage repair, renovation, and capital improvement projects, coordinating with contractors and vendors to ensure timely, on-budget completion.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of facilities and equipment to identify issues and recommend corrective actions.
  • Prepare and control the facilities budget, including forecasting expenses and managing cost efficiencies.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and regulatory compliance.
  • Respond promptly to emergency situations, troubleshoot technical problems, and coordinate necessary repairs.
  • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to align facility management strategies with organizational goals.

What we're looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • Must be a licensed Mechanical or Electrical Engineer.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in facilities management with proven leadership skills
  • Strong knowledge of building systems operations, maintenance practices, and safety regulations
  • Experience in managing teams and coordinating with contractors and vendors
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and other facility management software.
