JOB SUMMARY: As a DevOps Engineer, you will provide front-line support for Financial Market applications by managing incidents, changes, and services using ITSM frameworks and tools. You will enhance system reliability through regular monitoring, providing alerts and incident management, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues efficiently.

Your responsibilities will also include monitoring production jobs, troubleshooting, communicating updates, and ensuring adherence to standard procedures, as well as hands-on design, development, and testing using SSIS, SQL Server, C#, and Control-M. Additionally, you will leverage Artificial Intelligence capabilities to improve DevOps efficiency and productivity.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3–5 years' experience in ITSM or related fields, with proficiency in ITSM tools (such as Helix) and ITIL processes
  • Hands-on experience in DevOps practices, incident management, root cause analysis, and production support, including application performance optimization and automation
  • Strong knowledge of AWS cloud infrastructure, cloud platforms, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and Big Data technologies (such as Spark, Presto, and Airflow)
  • Proficiency in shell scripting, SQL, Linux commands, and troubleshooting techniques for identifying code bugs
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate incident details, follow documented processes, and contribute to the operational process design and rollout.

Nice to have:

  • 2 years of experience in troubleshooting
  • Experience in shell scripting, ITSM, and AWS

RELEVANT INFORMATION:

SCHEDULE:

If onboarded:

For the first and second weeks: 8 pm – 5 am - fully WFH with a night differential pay of 10%

For the third and fourth weeks: 12 am – 9 am - fully WFH with a night differential pay of 10%

For the fifth and sixth weeks: 8 am – 5 pm - hybrid, 3 days onsite and 2 days WFH

Note:

  • The role will support teams based in Sydney and AMEA, which requires alignment with their time zones.
  • As part of onboarding, the first four weeks will follow a night shift schedule.
  • There will be no senior staff available at all times, but an escalation procedure is in place for any issues that may arise.
  • When the manager or team lead is online, they will be available to assist junior team members as needed.

The PH holiday will not be observed; however, employees may still request leave if they wish. In cases where they work on days of PH holidays, they will receive double pay for their salary.
