We're expanding operations in the Philippines and are looking for someone clever, hands-on, and sharp-thinking to help us manage local logistics, ensure product quality, and streamline our supply chain.

The Role

You'll be the on-the-ground bridge between our Philippine operations and our U.S. team — helping coordinate shipments, perform QC checks, communicate with suppliers, and support production.

This is a role for a smart doer — someone who learns fast, loves solving problems, and can think ahead to prevent issues before they happen.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate local and export shipments, track progress, and update logistics sheets
  • Conduct quality control checks on nuts, packaging, and finished goods before export
  • Communicate with suppliers, co-packers, and freight forwarders to ensure smooth operations
  • Maintain organized export paperwork (FDA, BFAR, packing lists, invoices, etc.)
  • Support inventory, sourcing, and process improvements
  • Assist with R&D and test batches for new food products
  • Help improve efficiency using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT for reports, inventory tracking, or scheduling)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from a reputable university (Food Tech, Business, or Logistics preferred)
  • At least 1–2 years of experience in the food or manufacturing industry
  • Knowledge of food safety and QC procedures
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving ability
  • Tech-savvy — comfortable using Google Sheets, cloud tools, and open to learning AI tools
  • Dependable, trustworthy, and proactive (no micromanagement needed)
  • Bonus: Experience with export coordination, customs, or international logistics
