
Billing and Collection Assistant

Responsibilities:
- Report directly to the Finance Manager or his/her designate
- Assist the FM in all financial aspects of the building
- Update the FM and Head Property Manager of the areas/ accountabilities of the residents
- Collects payments of the residents
- Issues official receipts (OR) and provisional receipts (PR) to residents. The OR and PR booklets are then returned to the Finance Manager for safe keeping
- Ensures accuracy on financial reports
- Recommends corporate policies and procedures that are current and effective
- Prepares reminder letters to residents who are not paying on time
- Attends to all residents' inquiries on their statement of account.
- Informs the admin office contact details of the residents if there is any
- Prepares daily collection reports, cash journals
- All other tasks assigned by immediate supervisor from time to time
Qualifications:
- Candidates must possess at least bachelor's College Degree (Finance/Accounting or equivalent is a plus)
- Preferably with experience related to the job required.
- At least 6 months – 1 year of working experience in administrative function
- Must possess good written and oral communication skills
- Must be highly organized and has keen attention to small details
- Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines required.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and others)
