Billing and Collection Assistant

Responsibilities:

  • Report directly to the Finance Manager or his/her designate
  • Assist the FM in all financial aspects of the building
  • Update the FM and Head Property Manager of the areas/ accountabilities of the residents
  • Collects payments of the residents
  • Issues official receipts (OR) and provisional receipts (PR) to residents. The OR and PR booklets are then returned to the Finance Manager for safe keeping
  • Ensures accuracy on financial reports
  • Recommends corporate policies and procedures that are current and effective
  • Prepares reminder letters to residents who are not paying on time
  • Attends to all residents' inquiries on their statement of account.
  • Informs the admin office contact details of the residents if there is any
  • Prepares daily collection reports, cash journals
  • All other tasks assigned by immediate supervisor from time to time

Qualifications:

  • Candidates must possess at least bachelor's College Degree (Finance/Accounting or equivalent is a plus)
  • Preferably with experience related to the job required.
  • At least 6 months – 1 year of working experience in administrative function
  • Must possess good written and oral communication skills
  • Must be highly organized and has keen attention to small details
  • Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines required.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and others)
