Position: Business Development Representative

Your role:
As a Business Development Representative, you will:
- Conduct daily outreach to potential prospects via LinkedIn, phone, and email
- Qualify leads through initial discovery calls and conversations
- Schedule meetings and demos for the sales team with interested and qualified leads
- Accurately log all interactions, lead statuses, and updates in our CRM system
- Use AI tools and market intelligence to identify new industries, accounts, and prospects (i.e. ChatGPT/Hubspot AI)
- Follow up with leads not yet ready to buy, documenting reasons and maintaining communication
- Add unqualified or not-yet-ready leads into relevant marketing nurture campaigns
- Utilize scheduling tools (e.g., Calendly) to streamline the booking process for prospects
What You Need:
Non-negotiables:
- 1 year+ of experience in sales, marketing, or any customer-facing role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Confident and comfortable initiating cold outreach to prospects
- Familiarity with CRM systems and their purpose (experience with HubSpot is a plus)
- Open and willing to use AI tools daily for research, prospecting, and outreach
- Tech-savvy with an aptitude for office tools, while having a basic understanding of plant operations or operational workflows
- Eagerness to learn and adopt new technologies to work more efficiently
