JOB SUMMARY

The Chief Operating Officer (COO) in a real estate company is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, asset performance, and service delivery across complex real estate portfolios. The COO translates the company's strategic vision into operational reality, ensuring that property management, leasing, tenant services, construction, compliance and asset maintenance are executed with efficiency, consistency, and profitability. The role requires a diverse skill set that includes strong leadership, analytical prowess, and extensive industry experience, often complemented by educational credentials like an MBA.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

1) Proven experience as a COO or executive leadership role in managing daily operations of a business, and understanding of various business functions such as HR, Finance, Marketing, etc.;

2) Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development competency in strategic planning and business development with an eye for identifying opportunities for growth;

3) Strong financial acumen to make strategic financial decisions, analyze fiscal data, and ensure profitable operations.

4) Understanding of advanced business planning and regulatory issues;

5) Solid grasp of data analysis and performance/operation metrics;

6) Working knowledge of IT/Business infrastructure;

7) Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities with a strategic mindset and problem-solving aptitude;

8) Ability to oversee operations and provide guidance to the various departments in the organization using leadership skills;

9) Excellent communication and public speaking skills to effectively convey the company's mission and vision to staff, stakeholders, and external parties;

10) Interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with key partners and stakeholders.
