About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead the operational and business functions of az growing property development company. The COO will play a key role in driving operational excellence, ensuring project efficiency, and supporting the company's long-term growth and profitability.

You will work closely with the CEO and executive team to oversee all aspects of property development operations—from project planning and construction management to sales, marketing, and corporate services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the company's day-to-day operations, ensuring that all departments function efficiently and in alignment with business goals.
  • Lead and coordinate property development projects from conceptualization to completion, ensuring timely delivery, cost efficiency, and quality standards.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies, business plans, and policies that support organizational growth and sustainability.
  • Supervise key functional areas such as Construction, Engineering, Sales and Marketing, Finance, Human Resources, and Administration.
  • Establish strong partnerships with contractors, suppliers, consultants, and local government units to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Analyze financial reports and operational data to identify opportunities for process improvement, cost optimization, and risk mitigation.
  • Support the CEO in strategic planning, business development, and investment initiatives.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration across all teams.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and legal requirements related to property development and real estate operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (Master's degree or MBA preferred).
  • At least 10 years of progressive leadership experience in property development, real estate, or construction management.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end property development operations — including land acquisition, project planning, construction, marketing, and sales.
  • Proven track record in leading multidisciplinary teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Strong business and financial acumen, with the ability to translate strategy into actionable results.
  • Integrity, decisiveness, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
