About the Opportunity

A medium-sized, well-established Philippine conglomerate with diverse interests in jewelry, quick service restaurants (QSR), hotels, and real estate is seeking a highly experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO). This is a rare opportunity to become part of a growing organization undergoing transformation and professionalization, playing a key role in driving financial growth, governance, and strategic expansion.

Key Responsibilities

The CFO will oversee the company's entire financial strategy, operations, and compliance. Core responsibilities include:

  • Financial Strategy & Planning: Lead corporate financial planning, risk management, and capital structure to support business growth.
  • Accounting & Control: Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, compliance with local regulations (BIR, SEC, etc.), and strong internal controls.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Direct annual budget processes and long-term forecasts, ensuring alignment with corporate goals.
  • Treasury & Cash Flow: Manage liquidity, banking relations, and investment strategies to maximize returns and ensure financial stability.
  • Tax & Regulatory Compliance: Oversee tax planning and compliance with Philippine regulations.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and develop finance, accounting, and audit teams to strengthen capability and efficiency.
  • Business Partnering: Work closely with the CEO, Board, and Business Unit Heads to support strategic initiatives across jewelry, food, hotel, and real estate businesses.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field. MBA or Master's in Finance is an advantage.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation is a plus.
  • Proven track record as CFO or senior finance executive in medium to large enterprises (experience in diversified industries an advantage).
  • At least 10 years of progressive finance leadership experience, with expertise in strategy, treasury, and financial planning.
  • Strong understanding of Philippine taxation, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance.
  • Exceptional analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to execute in fast-paced, multi-unit environments.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From Php150,000.00 per month
