Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team ManagementLead, mentor, and manage a team of systems engineers and administrators.Set performance goals, conduct evaluations, and foster professional development within the team.Allocate resources effectively and manage workloads across projects.
System Architecture & DesignDesign and implement robust IT infrastructure solutions including servers, storage, networking, and virtualization.Develop system architecture documentation, technical diagrams, and integration plans.Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and optimized for performance.
Implementation & DeploymentOversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of operating systems, servers, and IT environments.Manage large-scale system upgrades and migrations with minimal downtime.Ensure adherence to best practices, standards, and compliance requirements.
Security & Risk ManagementImplement and monitor security protocols, access controls, and system hardening measures.Conduct vulnerability assessments and ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO, NIST, etc.).Develop disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
Performance Monitoring & OptimizationMonitor system performance and implement tuning strategies for optimization.Manage capacity planning and resource utilization.Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues escalated from the engineering team.
Collaboration & Stakeholder CommunicationWork closely with project managers, developers, and IT operations to ensure seamless integration of systems.Communicate technical solutions and risks to non-technical stakeholders and executive leadership.Provide recommendations for new technologies and system improvements.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Master's or certifications like ITIL, VMware, or Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert are a plus).8–10+ years of experience in systems engineering, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role.
Expertise in enterprise infrastructure solutions, including servers, storage, virtualization, and networking.Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux, Unix) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).Familiarity with DevOps practices, automation tools, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is advantageous.

Willing to work onsite in Pasig City
