About the role

As a Network Engineer within Insight's Infrastructure Managed Services Team, you'll play a key role in delivering diverse and challenging customer projects. Your main responsibilities will include resolving incidents and handling service requests across a wide range of networking technologies, as part of a collaborative team.

Job Details:

  • Hybrid Work Setup: Once a week in the office
  • Robinsons CyberOmega, Ortigas, Pasig
  • Monday to Friday: Night Shift Schedule with 20% Night Shift Differential

Responsibilities:

  • Manage, monitor, and troubleshoot WAN and LAN connections for multiple clients.
  • Use remote monitoring tools and protocol analyzers to troubleshoot, diagnose and solve network problems. Devices expected to be encountered include routers, switches, wireless access points, wireless controllers, firewalls, next generation firewalls, firewall management consoles, load balancers, SASE solutions, etc.
  • Perform advanced, complex network analysis, identify problems, and determine solutions.
  • Recommend enhancements to the network that will improve the quality, performance, security, and reliability of the network.

What we're looking for

  • Degree in Computer/Information Science, technical college, or equivalent work experience
  • Candidates with qualifications in any technical field will be considered for this position
  • 7+ years progressive experience in networking

  • Prefer expert level experience with Palo Alto SDWan (Prisma, ION, Strata Cloud Manager, etc).

  • Most of the listed networking technologies are required, with preference for candidates with experience across the majority of platforms

  • Advanced troubleshooting capabilities with networking technologies are essential for this role
  • Juniper experience desired.
  • Demonstrated associate to professional level technology and support experience for route/switch, security, wireless, etc. Certifications desired.
