Quality Control Inspector/Checker

  • Conduct inspections of raw materials, fabricated parts, in-process units, and finished products, particularly armored trucks, customized/specialized trucks bodies, and assembled motor vehicles.
  • Monitor fabrication and assembly processes to identify deviations and ensure corrective actions are taken promptly.
  • Accurately complete and maintain Quality Control Checklists, reports, and other related documentation for all truck bodies and motor vehicle units.
  • Record and report defects, non-conformities, and quality issues to the Quality Control Supervisor/Production Manager.
  • Assist in root cause analysis and recommend corrective/preventive measures.
  • Ensure adherence to company quality policies, procedures, and industry standards for armored, customized, and specialized vehicles.
  • Verify that safety, cleanliness, and operational procedures are observed during inspection.
  • Coordinate with production personnel and other departments regarding inspection findings and quality concerns.
  • Assist in training employees on quality standards and inspection procedures when necessary.
  • Participate in quality meetings, and evaluations are required.
  • Perform other tasks that may be assigned by the Quality Control Supervisor/Production Manager to support overall quality objectives.

Qualifications and Competencies

  • Education: At least a Technical/Vocational course or College level in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial field (or equivalent).
  • Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in quality control, inspection, or related production/engineering filed; Experience in automotive, fabrication, or manufacturing industry is an advantage.
  • Skills and Competencies: Strong attention to detail and accuracy; Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions; Knowledge of inspection methods, tools, and measuring; Ability to identify problems, analyze causes, and recommend corrective actions, Strong sense of responsibility, discipline, and teamwork.
