About the Role

We're looking for a Technical Lead to help shape the future of Muvr's logistics marketplace platform.

As Technical Lead, you'll act as the technical anchor for one or more engineering squads, providing architectural guidance, hands-on coding support, and system leadership across all core logistics workflows — from bookings and dispatch to pricing and fulfillment.

You'll work closely with the Engineering Manager, Product, and Ops teams to build reliable, scalable systems that serve a multi-sided marketplace where customer, provider, and partner experiences intersect.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead system design and architecture for core services powering moves, deliveries, and junk removal.
  • Guide backend, frontend (React), and mobile (Flutter) engineers in writing high-quality, maintainable, and scalable code.
  • Design and implement APIs and event-driven systems that support booking, dispatching, pricing, payments, and notifications.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product and Operations to align tech solutions with user and business needs.
  • Conduct regular code reviews, pair programming sessions, and design reviews to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Drive observability, fault tolerance, and high availability across all critical microservices.
  • Participate in incident response and lead technical RCA (root cause analysis) for high-impact events.
  • Champion CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and automated testing to streamline delivery.
  • Mentor engineers, foster a culture of technical excellence, and promote growth through feedback and guidance.
  • Collaborate on product roadmap discussions, ensuring technical feasibility and delivery scalability.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, with 1–2 years in a technical leadership or senior role.
  • Proficient in , Python, or Go, with deep understanding of RESTful and event-driven architectures.
  • Experienced with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, and modern CI/CD workflows.
  • Skilled in designing and maintaining microservices and distributed systems at scale.
  • Strong grasp of system reliability, observability, and performance optimization.
  • Effective communicator — you can explain complex technical concepts to product and ops teams clearly.
  • Collaborative leader who leads by example and values mentorship as much as technical depth.
Bonus Points
  • Experience in logistics, mobility, or delivery tech (e.g., Uber, DoorDash, Lalamove, Grab).
  • Familiarity with real-time systems and geospatial matching (dispatch, routing, or ETA models).
  • Background in AI/ML system integration for predictive or optimization use cases.
  • Hands-on experience with data pipelines, Kafka, or event-streaming architectures.
  • Knowledge of API versioning, security, and compliance for multi-tenant systems.
