Technical Manager

Job Summary:

Teragrail Geology and Geotechnics Construction, Inc. is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Technical Manager to join our team in a managerial position. As a Technical Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and leading geotechnical/geological projects, providing technical expertise, managing a team of geotechnical engineers and technicians, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects within budget and schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

· Project Management:

o Manage geotechnical projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project specifications, standards, and guidelines.

o Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.

o Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to establish project requirements and resolve technical issues.

· Team Leadership:

o Supervise and lead a team of geotechnical engineers and technicians, providing guidance, mentoring, and technical support.

o Delegate tasks effectively, monitor team performance, and provide constructive feedback to foster professional growth.

o Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, collaboration, and knowledge sharing.

· Geotechnical Engineering:

o Conduct geotechnical investigations, site inspections, and geotechnical analyses to assess soil and rock properties, stability, and suitability for construction projects.

o Prepare geotechnical reports, feasibility studies, and recommendations based on engineering analysis, calculations, and field data.

o Review and approve design drawings, specifications, and construction methodologies to ensure compliance with geotechnical standards and regulations.

· Client Engagement:

o Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and providing high-quality geotechnical solutions.

o Act as a technical advisor, providing expert guidance and recommendations to clients on geotechnical engineering aspects of their projects.

· Quality Control and Assurance:

o Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations in geotechnical engineering practices.

o Implement quality control and assurance procedures to maintain high standards of work and minimize risks.

o Conduct technical reviews of geotechnical reports, calculations, and designs to ensure accuracy and reliability.

Requirements:

· Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Geology. Master's degree preferred.

· Licensed Civil Engineer or Geologist by PRC.

· Minimum 5 years of experience in geotechnical engineering, including project management and team leadership.

· Strong knowledge of geotechnical analysis, slope stability, foundation design, and soil mechanics.

· Proficiency in geotechnical software and tools (e.g., Plaxis, GeoStudio, gINT).

· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex technical information effectively.

· Proven experience in managing geotechnical projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and client engagement.

· Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of professionals.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php60, Php100,000.00 per month
