Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to join our Data Operations team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in transforming raw data into actionable insights, supporting data-driven decision-making, and maintaining the integrity and efficiency of our data pipelines and reporting processes. This role requires strong technical expertise, critical thinking, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets to provide actionable insights and support business decisions.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or Looker).
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define KPIs, data requirements, and reporting needs.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity by implementing quality checks and validations.
• Conduct ad-hoc analyses to support key initiatives, campaigns, or operational needs.
• Assist in the automation of reporting and data workflows to improve efficiency.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and technologies to improve processes and capabilities.
• Tenaciously solve problems and make decisions under uncertainty.
• Actively contribute to team ceremonies including: sprint planning, daily stand-up, sprint review and retrospectives.
• Demonstrate a strong ownership in understanding business needs and driving business valued outcome.

Qualifications

• University degree in a quantitative concentration: Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or a similar role.
• Proficiency in SQL for querying and analyzing relational databases.
• Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
• Proficiency with Python for data manipulation (e.g., with pandas), data visualization (e.g., with matplotlib or seaborn), and basic automation or analysis tasks, including working with APIs or cleaning datasets.
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts and tools (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Fluent in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with data governance and best practices for data quality.
• Knowledge of data visualization best practices and storytelling with data.
