IES is a forward-thinking engineering firm driven by passion and excellence in client service. We are looking for an experienced and motivated Revit/CAD Designer (Design Draftee) to join our expanding Perth office and support building services engineering projects from design to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM software.
  • Assist in designing and documenting mechanical (HVAC), electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
  • Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure integrated, clash-free designs.
  • Maintain and uphold drawing standards, documentation quality, and company drafting procedures.
  • Liaise with clients, architects, and engineers to deliver accurate and high-quality outputs.
  • Support project delivery from inception to completion, including markups, revisions, and site coordination.
  • Collaborate and communicate regularly with the Perth project team while working remotely.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Navisworks (for clash detection), and Bluebeam Revu preferred.
  • Basic understanding of building services systems (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, fire).
  • Knowledge of Australian Standards and the Building Code of Australia.
  • Strong attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Willingness to learn, grow, and uphold the company's commitment to quality.
