Job Description:

  • Develop and monitor construction planning program to assist in the achievement of the construction program.
  • Detailed knowledge of surface works construction methodology to enable development and understanding of surface works constructions program.
  • Understanding the global project program and interaction with global technical works programs, recognizing and maintaining awareness of the global critical path.
  • Monitor construction activities to enable fortnightly progress reporting.
  • Understanding key resources and their allocation.
  • Identify risks and opportunities to the program.
  • Monitor performance against plans ensuring timely action to adjust for variance and contingencies.
  • Always ensure work is within budget and gain relevant approval.
  • Compliance with Environment and Quality management systems, processes and legislative requirements.
  • Contribute continuous improvement to technology, systems and processes.
  • Maintain relationships with JV project subcontractors, suppliers, community and stakeholders to optimize performance across the project.
  • Prepare various strategies for all planning activities for projects.
  • Ensure accuracy for all operational requirements of the Project.
  • Evaluate all system capacity and analyze all production requirement and system deficiencies.
  • Provide support to all operations and extension requests.
  • Manage all communication and provide efficient feedback for all processes.
  • Ensure optimal utilization of all common tools and processes.
  • Prepare plans and schedule for all project delivery.
  • Recommend appropriate improvements and ensure optimal quality of all project schedules and evaluate reports.
  • Determine the best ways to move materials, machinery and equipment between locations, and coordinate all the resources.

Requirements:

  • With Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineer
  • Preferably Licensed
  • 15 years Experience (5 years Experience in Railway Project)
