The Project Architect is responsible for managing the architectural aspects of projects from design evaluation to construction completion. This role ensures that all plans, materials, and construction works comply with design intent, quality standards, and safety requirements. The position also involves cost estimation, bid evaluation, and coordination with multiple teams to deliver well-executed, functional, and high-quality spaces.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial and Documentation

  • Uphold standard QA/QC practices in all architectural works.
  • Select and prepare purchase requests (PR) for furniture, appliances, and owner-supplied materials.
  • Oversee and carry out the showroom furniture fit-out and document its turn-over to the Sales Department.
  • Collate architectural plans and documents for permit applications.

Operational Oversight

  • Review technical compliance for bid evaluations.
  • Review site development plans and ensure alignment with design intent.
  • Monitor architectural works to ensure adherence to approved plans, specifications, and safety standards.
  • Check that all bid proposals comply with design intent, specifications, and required material standards.
  • Prepare estimates for architectural scope of works and evaluate contractor progress billings.
  • Implement and uphold standard safety and quality assurance practices across all project phases.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture; must be a Licensed Architect.
  • At least 3–5 years of experience in project or construction management.
  • Strong background in architectural design, site supervision, and technical documentation.
  • Knowledgeable in QA/QC standards, safety practices, and permit documentation.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and MS Office applications.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and project management skills.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
