Job Description The role will primarily focus on completing accounting and tax activities for different customer groups, in different industries.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare annual financial reports and income tax returns for business clients operating through various legal structures such as companies, trusts, sole traders and partnerships.
  • Complete individual tax returns (rental properties)
  • Complete work within budget
  • Complete tax reconciliations
  • Attend to GST, Div 7a, CGT, FBT
  • BAS / IAS
  • Participate in external and internal training

Requirements

  • Graduate BS Accountancy or Accounting related Degree
  • At least 2 years Australian Tax & Accounting work experience
  • Proficient in using Xero and Xero Practice Manager (XPM)
  • Calculation and understanding of Div 7a, FBT and CGT
  • Sound working knowledge of Xero, MYOB and other accounting software
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills
  • Can work independently with high attention to detail

Salary level will depend on technical skills and experience.
