We're looking for a designer who's fluent in both design and AI, using tools like Gemini or Midjourney to help us bring our books to life.

Our designer is responsible for everything visual: designing covers and interiors, creating visuals for ads and our shop, and using AI tools to develop and refine illustrations.

You'll be working full-time, fully remote, and closely with the founders.

Requirements:

  • Good skills in Adobe InDesign and Photoshop
  • Experience with image manipulation and retouching
  • Experience in AI Tools (Gemini, ChatGPT)
  • Willingness to use AI Generation
  • Strong understanding of composition, typography, and layout for print
  • Willingness to explore different illustration styles and visual directions across new book projects
  • Excellent (Digital) Communication Skills

Tasks:

  • Design book covers and interiors for various types of books (childrens books, gift books, guidebooks, etc.)
  • Design ad creatives for Meta campaigns and our online shop
  • Use AI tools (Gemini, Midjourney) to generate and refine illustrations
  • Create visual concepts and templates in Canva and Adobe tools
  • Prepare and deliver print-ready files for production
  • Collaborate closely with the founders to maintain and evolve our visual identity
  • Continuously improve visuals across all touchpoints - from products to marketing
