YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Creative Delivery

  • Design and produce high-quality motion graphics and video edits for social, web, e-commerce, digital campaigns, and brand content.
  • Translate creative briefs and storyboards into engaging motion content.
  • Animate typography, illustrations, photography, and graphic elements.
  • Edit diverse formats including brand videos, commercials, social-first content, animatics, and documentaries.
  • Retouch, colour grade, and optimise footage and assets for final delivery.
  • Ensure consistent visual quality and brand alignment across all outputs.
  • Explore and apply Generative AI (GenAI) tools to enhance workflows and creative exploration.

Client Collaboration

  • Partner with Designers to develop and execute visual concepts.
  • Present work confidently to clients and internal teams.
  • Work closely with the client daily, building strong, service-driven relationships.
  • Collaborate with account/project managers to scope, schedule, and deliver high-quality work.

Problem-Solving & Innovation

  • Apply critical thinking to deliver elegant and simple creative solutions.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, software, and motion design techniques.
  • Continuously experiment with new tools, styles, and workflows (including GenAI).
  • Proactively bring fresh thinking and innovation into creative projects.

REQUIRED SKILLS

Motion & Editing Expertise

  • Proven experience as a Motion Graphics Designer / Video Editor with a strong digital-first portfolio.
  • Advanced proficiency in
    Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro
    , with complementary skills in Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Strong understanding of design principles: typography, composition, timing, and visual storytelling.
  • Experience editing and animating content across multiple formats and platforms (social, digital campaigns, e-commerce, brand).
  • Ability to deliver both short-form and long-form content.

Technical Skills

  • Experience with 3D software (Cinema4D, Blender) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with scripting/expressions in After Effects.
  • Sound design and audio editing capabilities.
  • Comfortable working within the Mac environment and using asset management systems.
  • Familiarity with stock libraries (video, audio, and graphic assets).

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to present and defend work confidently to clients.
  • Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team.
  • Proven ability to manage deadlines and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
