The Senior IT Supervisor will oversees an organization's technology systems, managing IT Senior and Junior staff, infrastructure, and projects to ensure seamless and secure operations. Key responsibilities include developing IT policies, managing budgets, providing technical support, maintaining network security, and aligning technology with business objectives. They require strong leadership, problem-solving, and project management skills to implement and maintain computer systems and applications effectively. Key Responsibilities

  • Infrastructure Management: Overseeing the installation, maintenance, and operation of hardware, software, networks, and servers.
  • Staff Management: Recruiting, training, coaching, and supervising IT staff to ensure the team's effectiveness and performance.
  • Policy & Security: Developing and implementing IT policies, procedures, and security protocols to protect data, networks, and systems.
  • Project Management: Planning, executing, and overseeing IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Providing technical assistance to users and resolving technical issues to minimize downtime and maintain system performance.
  • Budget Management: Managing the IT budget, forecasting needs, and ensuring cost-effectiveness for technology expenditures.
  • Strategic Planning: Aligning IT strategies with organizational goals, researching new technologies, and recommending solutions to meet business needs.
  • Vendor Management: Building and maintaining relationships with external vendors and service providers for IT-related equipment and services.
  • System Audits: Conducting regular audits to ensure system accuracy, security, and compliance with relevant laws and standards.

Required Skills

  • Leadership and Communication: To effectively manage and motivate a team of IT professionals. Collaborates with different Department Heads.
  • Problem-Solving: To identify technical issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Project Management: To plan, coordinate, and execute IT projects successfully.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of computer systems, networks, hardware, software, and security.
  • Strategic Thinking: To develop and implement IT strategies that support business objectives.
  • Time Management: To manage multiple tasks, projects, and deadlines effectively.

With knowledge and experience in ISO is a plus.

Typical Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • Relevant work experience in information technology. Atleast 5 years in Supervisory level.
