Responsibilities include developing purchasing strategies, maintaining positive supplier relationships, coordinating with internal teams on supply needs, and leading the purchasing team. The ideal candidate must possess excellent leadership skills and be capable of negotiating favorable deals with suppliers.

Purchasing Manager Job Responsibilities:Develop and implement purchasing strategies. Manage daily purchasing operations, supervise staff, and delegate tasks. Manage supplier relations and negotiate contracts, prices, and delivery timelines.

Maintain supplier database, purchase records, and related documentation. Coordinate with inventory control to determine and manage inventory needs. Ensure procured items meet quality standards and specifications.

Identify potential suppliers in the Styrofoam and Plastic Manufacturing Industry. Improve purchasing systems and processes. Train new employees on purchasing procedures and the SAP system.

RequirementsBachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field. Extensive procurement experience in a manufacturing environment. At least 5 years of experience as a Purchasing Manager or similar role.

Deep knowledge of inventory and supply chain management. Supervisory and management experience. Proficiency in SAP system.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong negotiation and critical thinking skills. Effective planning and organizational abilities.
