Job Summary

Responsible for providing controls, layout on one or more specific area of the project. Perform topographic, route, lay out survey.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

SURVEYOR (SITE)

  1. Form a group of Instrument man and Rodman to provide layout at site.

  2. Review approved drawings before layout at site.

  3. Provide RFI's to Sr. Surveyor or Party Chief to resolve conflicts on plan vs. actual layout at site.

  4. Provide survey data to Engineering for attachment to RFI's.

  5. Checking of primary and secondary control.

  6. Conduct daily diary of site survey activities and store properly soft and hard copy of survey data's to ensure availability upon needed.

  7. Responsible for handling, care, and maintenance of issued survey instruments.

  8. Conduct checking of established layout at site prior to hand over to FOG.

  9. Submit survey reports to Party Chief.

SURVEYOR (OFFICE)

  1. Prepare Survey Data for Handover .

  2. Monitor and log all survey plans received.

  3. Assist site Surveyor by providing coordinates or measurements that can be acquired through AutoCad or Civil3D.

  4. Assist site Surveyor by Preparing Survey Reports that needed to be processed thru desktop or laptop.

  5. Prepare Parcellary Plans and Sketch Plans for ROW ( Right of Way) acquisition. (Infrastructure)

  6. Checking of Shop Drawings based on survey data provided for submission thru transmittals or rfi's.

  7. Prepare Survey Report Forms.

  8. Direct report to Senior Surveyor or Party Chief.

  9. Responsible for producing post and pre- pouring survey data.

Job Qualifications and Job Competencies

Qualifications

EDUCATION: Preferably licensed Geodetic or Civil Engineer.

Experience: 1-3 years experience as Surveyor or Instrument man with experience in surveying of building, infrastructure and heavy industrial plants.

SKILLS : Good verbal and written communication, computer literate

SPECIAL REQUIREMENT: willing to be assigned in different places and work on high elevated areas .

Competencies

  1. Proficient in geometrical coordinate computation and systematic on lot and area computation.

  2. Well verse in using various types / brands i.e. Total Station, Auto Level. 3. Can perform various types of construction survey works.
