Job Objective / Purpose

The Junior Architect creates designs for new construction projects, alterations, and redevelopments. They use their specialist construction knowledge and high-level drawing skills to design buildings that are functional, safe, sustainable, and aesthetically pleasing. Architects stay involved throughout the construction process, adapting their plans according to budget constraints, environmental factors, or client needs. As such, they operate as part of an overall project design team, working closely with a range of construction professionals from quantity surveyors to building specialized allied services (engineers).

Regular Duties (Task)

  1. Control project from start to finish to ensure high quality, innovative and functional design.

  2. Leading the draftsman, the preliminary up to the final works of the design development phase.

  3. Take the "brief' to identify clients' needs and put together feasibility reports and design proposals.

  4. Develop ideas keeping in mind the client's needs, building's usage, to presented to Design Supervisor.

  5. Checking of plans and make any necessary corrections.

  6. Ensure that all works are carried out to specific standards, building codes, guidelines, and regulations.

  7. Conduct site visit for data collection for design requirements.

  8. Cooperate and liaise with construction professionals

  9. Follow architectural trends and advancements

  10. Assist design Supervisor for planning the execution plan of the team on the design phase of the projects

  11. Monitoring and organizing the accomplishments of the project (Design Development).

  12. Assist Design Supervisor for reviewing and checking of project proposal of the projects.

  13. Leading the team in producing presentation drawings and construction documents to be discuss to design supervisor.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From Php18,000.00 per month
