The Procurement Specialist is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods and services required by the organization. This role ensures cost-effective procurement while maintaining quality, compliance, and timely delivery in support of business operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on price, quality, service, and reliability
  • Prepare and process purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and contracts
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with vendors
  • Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to delivery, quality, or pricing
  • Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain accurate procurement records, documentation, and reports
  • Coordinate with internal departments to understand purchasing needs and specifications
  • Track inventory levels and support demand planning when required
  • Conduct market research to identify cost-saving and improvement opportunities
  • Support audits by providing procurement documentation and reports

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field
  • Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain operations
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
  • Knowledge of procurement processes, contracts, and supplier evaluation
  • Proficiency in MS Office and procurement or ERP systems
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in strategic sourcing or contract management
  • Knowledge of local and international procurement regulations
  • Professional certification (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) is an advantage

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php25, Php30,000.00 per month
