We are seeking a passionate and creative Music Teacher to inspire students through engaging, skills-based, and performance-oriented instruction. The ideal candidate will design meaningful learning experiences, cultivate musical appreciation, and develop students' technical and expressive abilities—ensuring alignment with academic standards and institutional goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Curriculum Development & Instruction

  • Develop and implement dynamic lesson plans for Music courses.
  • Incorporate vocal and instrumental activities, performances, and listening exercises to enrich learning.
  • Use modern educational technologies and strategies to enhance musical understanding.
  • Promote creativity, collaboration, and critical listening in the classroom.

Music Program & Classroom Management

  • Prepare and conduct classroom and performance-based music activities.
  • Train students in proper techniques, performance etiquette, and collaborative music-making.
  • Maintain and monitor instruments, sound equipment, and learning materials.
  • Uphold classroom discipline and foster a positive, inclusive learning environment.

Assessment & Student Progress

  • Design and administer assessments, practice tasks, and performance evaluations to measure student growth.
  • Provide clear, constructive feedback to support student development.
  • Apply differentiated instruction to meet varied learning needs and musical abilities.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Coordinate with fellow faculty on interdisciplinary projects and school-wide performances.
  • Engage with students, parents, and school leaders regarding student progress and achievements.
  • Actively participate in concerts, recitals, and institutional events that showcase student talent.

Professional Development & School Involvement

  • Stay current with developments in music education, pedagogy, and performance practices.
  • Attend professional workshops, training sessions, and collaborative events.
  • Support school activities such as music clubs, cultural events, and outreach projects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Music Education, Music, or a related field.
  • Valid Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) License for Professional Teachers.
  • 0–2 years of teaching experience (experience in performance and ensemble direction is an advantage).
  • Strong understanding of music theory, performance techniques, and instructional design.
  • Passionate about arts education, creativity, and student engagement.
  • Must be willing to work in Mother Ignacia, Quezon City.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Php21,000.00 per month
