GENERAL PURPOSE:

The Laboratory Specialist is responsible for evaluating products through established testing protocols to ensure product quality, performance, and compliance with company standards. The role provides technical insights and recommendations that support product development, innovation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conducts product testing and evaluation of products based on defined procedures, standards, and benchmarks.

  • Ensures accuracy, reliability, and consistency in all testing and documentation.
  • Analyzes results and provides detailed reports with recommendations to support product innovation and renovation initiatives.

  • Reporting

  • Provides regular updates and recommendations to relevant stakeholders.

  • Provides any adhoc reports needed.

  • Continuous Improvement

  • Keeps up to date with new testing technologies, industry trends, and competitor activities.

  • Proactively reviews and updates testing protocols to align with evolving standards and business needs.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in BS Bio Chemistry
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in laboratory testing, and product evaluation.
  • Training in ISO standards, Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), or related certifications is an advantage.
  • PRC License is a must.
  • Proficiency is MS Office applications and laboratory software / tools for reporting and analysis.
