DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Quality Control and Testing
  • Conduct sampling, preparation, testing, and analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products in accordance with approved procedures and methods.
  • Ensure accuracy, reliability, and traceability of results through proper documentation and maintenance of laboratory records.
  • Prepare draft Certificates of Analysis for tested samples; final review and certification shall be performed by a Licensed Chemist.
  • Monitor performance, maintenance, and calibration schedules of laboratory equipment, and promptly report any issues or deviations.
  • Assist in validation and verification studies of laboratory test methods under the guidance of a Licensed Chemist.
  • Establish, update, and monitor quality control charts and reference samples for analytical methods.

  • Prepare laboratory samples required for product registration and client requests, subject to the review of a Licensed Chemist.

  • Assist in research and development projects, including the development of new methodologies, evaluation of new products, and process improvement initiatives, in coordination with the QC Laboratory Supervisor and Licensed Chemist.

  • Maintain inventory of laboratory chemicals, reagents, and consumables to ensure continuous operations.

  • Follow laboratory safety protocols and comply with chemical handling and waste management practices.

  • Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and safety in the laboratory, ensuring availability of glassware and unobstructed work areas.

  • Perform other related tasks as may be assigned from time to time.

  • Compliance with laboratory safety standards, chemical handling protocols, and waste management procedures.
JOB SPECIFICATION

Education:

  • Bachelor of Science in Chemistry or Chemical Technology.
  • Must be a Licensed Chemical Technician.

Experience:

  • At least one (1) year of relevant laboratory experience preferred but not required.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply, provided they demonstrate competence in laboratory fundamentals and willingness to undergo training.
