DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct sampling, preparation, testing, and analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products following approved procedures and test methods.
  • Ensure accuracy, reliability, and traceability of results through proper documentation and maintenance of laboratory records in compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 and company standards.
  • Prepare Certificates of Analysis (CoA) and draft statements of conformity for review and approval by the QC Laboratory Supervisor.
  • Monitor performance, maintenance, and calibration of laboratory equipment, and promptly report any deviations or malfunctions.
  • Participate in the validation and verification of test methods to ensure suitability and reliability.
  • Establish, update, and monitor quality control charts and reference materials for analytical methods.
  • Prepare laboratory samples required for Fertilizer and Pesticide Authority (FPA) product registration and client requests.
  • Assist in research and development projects, including new test methodologies, product evaluation, and process improvements.
  • Maintain inventory of laboratory chemicals, reagents, and consumables to ensure uninterrupted operations.
  • Implement and comply with chemical and laboratory safety protocols, ensuring a safe, clean, and orderly workplace.
  • Perform other related tasks as may be assigned.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Accuracy, integrity, and timeliness in the preparation of Certificates of Analysis.
  • Compliance with regulatory requirements e.g., PRC regulations, and FPA product registration standards.
  • Proper use, care, and maintenance of laboratory instruments, equipment, and materials.

JOB SPECIFICATION:

  • Education: Bachelor of Science in Chemistry; must be a Licensed Chemist.
  • Experience: At least one (1) year of relevant laboratory experience preferred; fresh graduates are welcome to apply with demonstrated competence and willingness to train.
  • Skills & Others:
  • Proficiency in laboratory test methods, documentation, and data integrity.
  • Strong knowledge of chemical handling, laboratory safety, and compliance standards.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Adaptability to new methodologies, technologies, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Effective communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.

Job Type: Full-time
