Central Fixed and Intangible Asset Accounting

  • Review asset disposal and transfer forms, verify documentation and retirement types, and ensure all retired assets are properly recorded.
  • Follow up with offices regarding assets pending retirement and those retired without proper approval.
  • Review and monitor annual stocktake submissions to ensure assets exist, are owned by IOM, and are properly accounted for.
  • Recommend improvements to fixed and intangible asset policies and procedures in line with IPSAS.
  • Provide support for ad hoc requirements related to fixed and intangible asset accounting.

Other Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing periodic and ad hoc reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support business requirement preparation, system testing, and coordination with business analysts for financial report automation.
  • Provide necessary documents and data during internal and external audits.
  • Help manage team mailboxes and ticketing tools (Fincoorp).
  • Perform other administrative and accounting tasks as required.

Qualifications

  • University degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • CPA or equivalent is an advantage.
  • Minimum four years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, budgeting, or audit.

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: Php30,000.00 per month
