The National Sales Head leads the charge in growing a powerhouse brand across the country. This role orchestrates the performance of all commercial channels: brick and mortar stores, e-commerce, wholesale, consignment and business development. Success means balancing strategic finesse with decisive, high-energy leadership that unlocks new opportunities and scales revenue responsibly.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Leadership and Strategy

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies that elevate brand presence, drive profitable growth and expand market share across all channels

  • Set ambitious yet achievable revenue, margin and productivity targets while ensuring operational discipline

  • Monitor market dynamics, competitor moves and consumer insights to stay ahead of trends and sharpen channel strategies

Retail (Brick and Mortar)

  • Lead store network performance including productivity, sell-through, merchandising execution and customer experience

  • Partner closely with Operations and Retail Merchandising functions to drive premium brand presentation and conversion

  • Identify network expansion, remodel and optimization opportunities

E-Commerce and Omnichannel

  • Grow digital revenue by strengthening brand presence on owned platforms, marketplaces and partner sites

  • Champion demand-driving programs such as online exclusives, campaigns and seamless omnichannel integration

  • Optimize assortment, pricing, content and promotional strategy for each digital channel

Digital & Omnichannel Mindset

Wields data, consumer journeys and platform best practices to drive growth wherever customers browse and buy.

  • Influence & Negotiation

Builds partnerships rooted in trust and accountability. Can push for more while strengthening relationships.

  • Total national sales growth year-on-year

  • Channel sales performance vs. target (Retail, E-comm, Wholesale, Consignment)

  • New business revenue contribution

Profitability & Efficiency

  • Gross margin improvement across channels

  • Sell-through improvement vs. prior year

  • Reduced markdown and inventory aging

Retail Operations Health

  • Sales per store productivity

  • Conversion rate and UPT improvements

  • Mystery shopper / customer experience score

Wholesale & Partner Quality

  • On-time sell-in target achievement

  • Partner compliance on assortment, pricing and branding

  • Joint business plan scorecards

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing or related field (MBA preferred)

  • Minimum 10 years' experience in sales leadership within footwear, apparel, sporting goods or lifestyle retail

  • Demonstrated success managing multi-channel sales organizations at a national scale

  • Strong financial acumen and familiarity with retail KPIs, P&L management and demand planning

  • Credible negotiator and relationship builder with major retail partners and marketplace platforms

  • Agile mindset, able to thrive in a fast-moving consumer brand environment
