DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform accurate tariff classification, lodgement of imports and exports
  • Perform accurate documentation, customs clearance from customs and timely release of import and export shipments
  • Submit processing documents to customs or brokers for shipping
  • Maintain accurate and proper documentation of shipment details
  • Assist in filing, payment of Bureau of Customs duties and taxes
  • Monitor shipment departure, arrival, and clearance statuses to ensure prompt release of shipment
  • Expedite release of shipments by following up and coordinating with stakeholders
  • Coordinate customs clearance status with logistics arm to ensure proper communication of information and timely delivery of each shipment
  • Inform logistics arm and clients when a potential demurrage or detention could occur
  • Perform other related activities that may be assigned by immediate supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree in BS Customs Administration or supply chain related field
  • Professional written and verbal English communication skills are required
  • Highly knowledgeable on Customs processes and laws
  • Strong sense of responsibility and ability to work productively under minimal supervision; ability to work independently
  • Client oriented, with strong interpersonal skills, and a positive attitude
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Strong team player who can manage multiple stakeholders
  • Adept at creating content that will effectively engage audiences
  • Excellent time, organizational, and self-management skills
  • Quick-thinking, keen to details, with excellent crisis management skills
  • Proactive and adaptable to changing work environments
