We are seeking a highly skilled SDN (Software-Defined Networking) and Automation Lead to drive the design, development, and operationalization of next-generation networking solutions.

This role will oversee the implementation of SDN frameworks, network automation, orchestration platforms, and CI/CD pipelines to ensure scalability, agility, and efficiency across our network infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the strategy, design, and roadmap for SDN and network automation initiatives.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and vendor solutions (e.g. OSS, Ribbon MUSE; Nokia WebSuite and Altiplano, Hauwei NCE iMaster, ZTE ZenicOne, API, Microservices Infrastructure, Phyton, Netconf/YANG, Kafka, Ansible, Terraform) to align with business and operational goals.
  • Architect and deploy SDN solutions for both IP and Optical Transmission that covers Access/Metro, Aggregation/RBB and Core/NBB, DCI, DC Network environments.
  • Develop APIs and integrate SDN controllers with OSS; OSS with BSS, ITSM, and customized dashboard.
  • Manage end-to-end project lifecycle: requirements gathering, design, testing, deployment, and optimization.
  • Drive network transformation towards intent-based with assurance networking and zero-touch operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Engineering, or related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in network engineering, with at least 3 years in SDN and automation leadership roles.
  • Proven track record in deploying and managing SDN solutions in service provider network or large-scale enterprise environments.
  • Hands-on expertise with automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, Python, Netconf/RESTCONF, gNMI).
  • Strong knowledge of protocols (BGP, ISIS, OSPF, EVPN, VXLAN, MPLS, SRv6).
  • Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Kubernetes networking, vMWare, (CNI, service mesh).

Key Skills:

  • Deep understanding of SDN architectures (OpenFlow, controller-based, intent-based).
