About the role

Join JRBuilders Company Inc. as a QAQC Engineer based in Quezon City, Metro Manila. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our construction projects, playing a critical part in the delivery of our high-quality services.

What you'll be doing

  • Develop and implement quality assurance and quality control processes and procedures to meet project requirements and industry standards
  • Conduct site inspections, material testing, and quality audits to identify and resolve any non-conformities
  • Collaborate with project managers, site supervisors, and subcontractors to ensure adherence to quality standards
  • Review and approve construction drawings, shop drawings, and other technical documentation
  • Maintain detailed records and documentation of quality control activities
  • Train and mentor junior quality control staff
  • Provide technical support and advice to the construction team

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a QAQC Engineer in the construction industry
  • Strong understanding of construction materials, methods, and quality control practices
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and standards
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with the construction team
  • Familiar with relevant construction regulations, codes, and industry standards
