Work Arrangement: Work from Home

Work Shift: Sunday-Thursday | 8am- 5pm Pacific Time (11:00am-8:00pm PHT)

This is a role working with a US-based MSP with a team of 10 staff. You will play an important role in supporting business clients and the technologies we deploy to their businesses.

It is an opportunity to work on a wide variety of technologies and to continue to build your skills through mentoring and training with our highly skilled team.

About the Job

Typical daily tasks can include:

  • Handle/Clear alerts from BMS board: Monitoring alerts, BitDefender, sites offline, etc.
  • Customer User Onboarding and Offboarding requests.
  • Software troubleshooting: Adobe errors, M365 MFA issues, OneDrive sync issues, etc.
  • Printer troubleshooting.
  • Troubleshoot basic network issues.
  • Phone / PBX support: setup new hardware, password resets, etc.
  • Active Directory management (user management, password management, etc.)
  • Basic computer hardware troubleshooting.
  • OpenVPN troubleshooting.
  • Multiple monitor adjusting/fixing.
  • Outlook troubleshooting: usually large mailbox or too many Delegate mailboxes assigned.
Your Qualification

Experience:

  • This is a Tier 2 (mid to senior) MSP position requiring broad skills
  • Working experience 1-2 years, with a range of technologies
  • Working knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy management
  • Administrative & support experience with M365
  • Basic knowledge of Azure
  • Prefer experience with Google Gsuite
  • Functional knowledge of Apple administration in windows environments
  • Knowledge of Desktop, Mobile, and Server hardware
  • Good networking fundamentals including experience troubleshooting and configuring Wifi TCP/IP, VPN, DNS
  • Experience with VOIP support and management, either physical or virtual PBX.

Skills:

  • Previous experience in a similar role providing "Level 2" Support
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Windows including desktop support and patching
  • Experience with administration of M365 (example tasks: create users, change passwords, enforce MFA, apply licenses, delegate a mailbox, set file permissions, archive mailbox)
  • Experience with basic MS server troubleshooting
  • Fundamentals of Active Directory and Group Policy (user setup, permissions, etc)
  • Some support experience of a VOIP solution is necessary like 3CX or a hosted PBX service like Ring Central

  • CX Voip products
  • Small percentage of our clients use Apple and/or Gsuite so these skills are viewed very favourably:
  • Functional knowledge of Apple administration in windows environments
  • In-depth knowledge of Gsuite
  • Unifi Router Administration (firewall)
  • Any desk Remote Tool
  • PAX8
  • 1Password
  • Ability to write end user how-to's and guides
  • Experience with Kaseya VSA/BMS/ITGlue
  • DATTO EDR via Kaseya (review and address alerts)
  • RocketCyber via Kaseya (review and address alerts)
  • Any backup experience is nice to have – Veeam backup is ideal
