The Amazon Account & Marketing Specialist plays a pivotal role in managing and growing Amazon seller accounts. This position is heavily focused on account management, ensuring operational excellence, compliance, and strategic growth. The specialist also supports marketing initiatives to boost product visibility, optimize listings, and execute successful product launches.

Key Responsibilities

Account Management (Primary Focus)

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Amazon Seller Central or Vendor Central

operations

  • Monitor and maintain account health metrics including order defect rate, late shipment

rate, and policy compliance

  • Resolve issues related to account suspensions, listing deactivations, and customer

complaints

  • Manage case logs and communicate with Amazon Seller Support to resolve technical and

operational issues

  • Ensure timely and accurate order processing, returns handling, and customer service

coordination

  • Track performance KPIs and implement corrective actions to improve account standing

  • Stay up-to-date with Amazon policies, algorithm changes, and compliance requirements

Listing & Content Optimization

  • Create and optimize product listings with SEO-rich titles, bullet points, descriptions, and

backend keywords

  • Develop A+ Content and Enhanced Brand Content to improve conversion rates and brand

storytelling

  • Conduct competitor analysis and keyword research to improve organic ranking

Inventory & Fulfillment Coordination

  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate restocking to prevent stockouts or overstock

  • Manage FBA shipments, reconcile inventory discrepancies, and ensure timely

replenishment

  • Collaborate with logistics teams to streamline fulfillment operations

Product Launch & Advertising

  • Plan and execute product launch strategies including promotions, PPC campaigns, and

influencer outreach

  • Manage Amazon Advertising campaigns (Sponsored Products, Brands, Display) to

maximize ROI

  • Analyze campaign performance and adjust strategies based on data insights

Reporting & Strategic Insights

  • Generate weekly/monthly reports on account performance, sales trends, and advertising

metrics

  • Provide actionable insights to improve product visibility, conversion, and profitability

  • Recommend strategic initiatives to scale brand presence and revenue on Amazon

Qualifications & Skills

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience managing Amazon Seller or Vendor accounts

  • Deep understanding of Amazon's operational policies, metrics, and escalation processes

  • Proficiency in tools like Helium 10, Jungle Scout, or similar

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple brands or product lines

Preferred Experience

  • Experience handling multiple Amazon marketplaces (US, UK, CA, etc.)

  • Proven track record of resolving account issues and improving account health

  • Background in e-commerce, digital marketing, or brand management
