Job description:

The Logistic Officer is responsible for overseeing the supply chain operations of the organization, ensuring efficient and cost-effective coordination of procurement, transportation, inventory management, and distribution. The role involves managing logistics databases, coordinating with vendors and transport companies, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and monitor logistics operations including warehousing, inventory, transportation, and supply chain processes.
  • Maintain accurate logs and records of logistics-related activities.
  • Liaise with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers, and consumers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, customs regulations, and safety procedures.
  • Monitor quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs, and efficiency.
  • Resolve any arising problems or complaints related to logistics and transportation.
  • Prepare and maintain reports, documentation, and performance metrics.
  • Optimize logistics processes using technology and data analysis.
  • Support procurement processes, including sourcing and vendor management.
  • Collaborate with other departments (e.g., procurement, finance, operations) to ensure integrated logistics support.

Job Qualifications :Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 1–5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain operations.
  • Experience with ERP systems or logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, WMS,ODOO)is an advantage.
  • Willing to be assigned in the project sites (Inside and outside Metro Manila)

  • Knowledge of supply chain processes and best practices.
  • Analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Teamwork and collaboration capabilities.
  • Basic understanding of customs and international shipping (for international logistics roles).

Certifications (Preferred but not required):

  • Certified in Logistics, Transportation, and Distribution (CLTD)
  • Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)
  • OSHA or other safety-related certifications
