Job Description

As a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, modeling, and documenting stormwater management and water resource projects. Working closely with U.S.-based Project Managers and technical teams, you will perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, prepare technical reports, and ensure compliance with engineering standards and sustainability practices.

The Qualifications We Seek

1. Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (required)
2. 3-5 years of hands-on experience in water resources, stormwater, or civil infrastructure design
3. Strong proficiency in Civil 3D and AutoCAD, with solid 3D modeling and design capabilities
4. Exposure to green infrastructure and/or sewer system design is highly desirable
5. Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to engage project managers and executive-level stakeholders
6. Working knowledge of HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, ArcGIS, and Microsoft Office
7. Experience with US stormwater design standards, QA/QC, and technical reporting is an advantage
8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
9. Experience using GIS and project management or collaboration tools (e.g., Asana, ) is a plus
10. Ability to support project managers through design coordination, documentation, and client communication
11. US project experience preferred but not required; willingness to be trained on US standards

Your Daily Tasks

1. Perform civil engineering design and analysis focused on water resources and stormwater management projects.
2. Collaborate with project engineers, managers, and drafting teams to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant deliverables.
3. Prepare and review drainage, grading, and stormwater management plans.
4. Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic modeling (HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, or similar).
5. Coordinate with CAD staff to develop detailed engineering drawings.
6. Perform calculations, prepare technical reports, and ensure compliance with U.S. design standards.
7. Review construction documents and assist in QA/QC processes.
8. Support project managers with project documentation and client coordination.
