Role Description:

The Finance Manager will oversee financial operations, ensuring compliance with Financial Reporting Standards and statutory regulations, while preparing detailed financial reports. This role includes budgeting, cash flow monitoring, tax compliance, audit support, and finance project leadership (e.g., accounting system migrations). The Finance Manager will supervise the finance team and collaborate with other departments to support strategic financial planning and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accounting practices align with Financial Reporting Standards and statutory regulations, overseeing monthly financial reporting and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Prepare for and assist with external and internal audits, ensuring timely tax filings and supporting tax audits as needed.
  • Oversee payroll review and payroll tax reporting, and manage monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Establish, manage, and refine accounting policies and procedures, leading projects such as accounting system migrations.
  • Maintain compliance for business permits, BOC Certificates, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop finance team members, fostering a high-performance culture.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • 5+ years of finance experience, with at least 3+ years in a managerial role.
  • Strong background in audit, financial reporting, and compliance.
  • CPA/CFA preferred; proficiency in finance systems is essential.
  • Solid understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
